"This is the impressive venture of Turon and Alex White. Working for several small wineries while studying at university, Turon realised the potential of the ever-varying site climates within the Adelaide Hills. His overseas winemaking experience while completing his degree was appropriately lateral, with vintages in Oregon and Hungary. Out of this came a highly detailed minimal-intervention, lo-fi approach to winemaking. The pair built a small winery in Lenswood in ’17 and planted a low-yielding, high-density vineyard in ’20, which is managed with biodynamic and organic principles in mind. The 1ha under vine is all pinot noir at this stage, specifically Abel, Pommard, MV6 and 777 clones." Halliday Wine Companion

"This wine goes through wild fermentation, sees 50% of that ferment retained as whole bunches. A juicy, bright and vivid gamay of tart and sweet cherry juice, pomegranate lift, distinct, drying rosehip tea characters, light charcuterie elements and sprigs of dried sage and rosemary dropped in for good measure. It slips along the palate with effortless juiciness then finds a gentle rumble of dusty tannin to close. While fresh and bright, you'd call it savoury in the same breath; drinking is a treat, the gamay characters distinct and delicious." 93pts | Mike Bennie | Halliday Wine Companion
