"This is the impressive venture of Turon and Alex White. Working for several small wineries while studying at university, Turon realised the potential of the ever-varying site climates within the Adelaide Hills. His overseas winemaking experience while completing his degree was appropriately lateral, with vintages in Oregon and Hungary. Out of this came a highly detailed minimal-intervention, lo-fi approach to winemaking. The pair built a small winery in Lenswood in ’17 and planted a low-yielding, high-density vineyard in ’20, which is managed with biodynamic and organic principles in mind. The 1ha under vine is all pinot noir at this stage, specifically Abel, Pommard, MV6 and 777 clones." Halliday Wine Companion

"A plump-feeling gamay, but a bit painted in watercolour overall. Swishy texture, a little silty grip from tannin, washy flavours of dark cherry, raspberry with smoked paprika, sage leaf and bay leaf chiming in. The finish shows off a little leafy, fresh rosemary character and a spike of jalapeño peppery piquancy and warmth. It's a lighter expression, done pretty well." 92pts | Mike Bennie | Halliday Wine Companion
