Stefano Lubiana's sought-after wines are the result of a passionate quest for perfection, detail and uniqueness. Steve and Monique Lubiana’s approach focuses on organic principals, with innovative use of barrel and whole-bunch fermentation and wild yeasts to handcraft a distinctive range of wines. The Grande Vintage wines are made to show off the vintage they were grown in, selecting the best parcels of fruit to give freshness, elegance, balance and intensity. Only made in the best years, they are drier and more refined than the NV and are made entirely from the one vintage.
"A single-vineyard, estate-grown blend of 50/50% chardonnay/pinot noir from the Derwent Valley. Pale in the glass with a fine, energetic bead and mousse. Aromas of crunchy green apple, nashi pear and citrus fruits with hints of brioche, mushroom, white flowers, flint, toast, almond paste, roast chestnuts and meal.
