Sure, it’s destiny – his parents are Alan and Nelly Cooper of Cobaw Ridge fame, but Josh is forging his unique path. Aside from gentle, thoughtful winemaking, his love of the Macedon Ranges and his respect for vinous history (drinking many old vintages of Balgownie Estate and Virgin Hills with his father) have inspired some of his wines, which are sourced from old vineyards such as Balgownie Estate.
