"The fruit here is sourced from a single vineyard in the Frankland River sub-region of the Great Southern district in Western Australia. Only free run juice is used, with a cool fermentation in stainless steel. Pale lemon/lime green in colour, this is a classic Riesling, pristine, taut, poised and with serious length. The nose reveals aromas of florals, wet slate, limes, grapefruit, lemon blossoms and a flick of honeycomb on the finish. There is zesty acidity throughout. This is really impressive and should provide immense pleasure over the next twelve to fifteen years." 95pts | Ken Gargett
"Wholly sourced from the Swinney vineyard here in Frankland River, and the wine is tightly coiled and compressed, with a pure seam of acidity that runs down the middle of the wine like a fault line. This is classically made so the complexity on show here is derived from the fruit and not the winemaking. This brings a sense of purity and focus to the wine that I really appreciate. The wine feels plump through the middle palate, and it has a lychee/elderflower character that is very pretty. This is a lovely wine and a wine for the future.
