SC Pannell 'Protero' Pinots Blend 2024

Stephen Pannell has twice won Australia’s most prestigious wine award, the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy – most recently in 2014 for his 2013 Adelaide Hills Syrah – and his reputation is further hinted at by his being named one of the 50 most influential contributors to the world of wine by Decanter Magazine.
A blend of 78% Pinot Grigio (Block 5), 17% Pinot Bianco (Block 6) & 5% Pinot Nero (Block 5).
Aromas of fuji apple, Nashi pear, yuzu, jasmine flowers, stem ginger, cloud berries and subtle tatami. On the palate is feathery fennel fronds, citrus, Nashi pear, white strawberry and very faint jalapeno chilli. Grapefruit pith gives lift and precision, sherbet and musk add the charm. Texutre is crunchy apple skin.
