Tasmania's first off grid winery. Seven hectares in the Tamar Valley, Northern Tasmania. Moores Hill became Tasmania's first 100% solar-powered winery in 2017 and the wines are all made onsite.

A blend of clones and a warm year have combined to produce a juicy, generous wine with lots of fruit intensity- plum, cherry and blackberry. There is plenty of body and length with a crunchy acidity and a spicy oak touch. 13.5% alc.

"A bright cherry red in the glass. Lifted aromas of dark cherry, Asian spice, rhubarb, dried herbs, sap and briar. Fleshy, pithy, red fruited, crunchy and with plenty of juiciness. Youthful, quite full flavoured, textured and with smart of grip and length." 92pts | Aaron Brasher | The Real Review
