Tasmania's first off grid winery. Seven hectares in the Tamar Valley, Northern Tasmania. Moores Hill became Tasmania's first 100% solar-powered winery in 2017 and the wines are all made onsite.

A blend of clones and a warm year have combined to produce a juicy, generous wine with lots of fruit intensity- plum, cherry & blackberry. There is plenty of body and length with a crunchy acidity and a spicy oak touch. 13.5% alc.

"A focused, fragrant pinot noir from the excellent '24 vintage with characters of red cherry, red plum and raspberry fruit with hints of exotic spice, charcuterie, shiitake, raspberry coulis, sous bois and citrus blossom. Finely poised, with a lovely flow of fruit, a briny acid line that holds just the right amount of line and twang and a red-fruited, gently spiced finish that shows some impressive sustain." 93pts | Dave Brooks | Halliday Wine Companion

"A bright cherry red in the glass. Lifted aromas of dark cherry, Asian spice, rhubarb, dried herbs, sap and briar. Fleshy, pithy, red fruited, crunchy and with plenty of juiciness. Youthful, quite full flavoured, textured and with smart of grip and length." 92pts | Aaron Brasher | The Real Review
