Juniper may well be the lowest profile winery in the region with proper old vine assets. In this case over 45yrs in age which of course is 'old' for Margaret River. Roger Hill and Gillian Anderson purchased the Wrights' Wilyabrup property in 1998, driven by the 25-year-old vineyard with dry-grown cabernet as the jewel in the crown.
The vineyard is farmed sustainably, following organic principles and dry-grown (unirrigated). All wines are particularly well-priced given the vineyard source.

You are promptly transported to Margaret River with a splendid display of tree fruits. Hanging pears, white peaches and tropical star fruit is followed by a wisp of passionfruit curd.
