"This is the impressive venture of Turon and Alex White. Working for several small wineries while studying at university, Turon realised the potential of the ever-varying site climates within the Adelaide Hills. His overseas winemaking experience while completing his degree was appropriately lateral, with vintages in Oregon and Hungary. Out of this came a highly detailed minimal-intervention, lo-fi approach to winemaking. The pair built a small winery in Lenswood in ’17 and planted a low-yielding, high-density vineyard in ’20, which is managed with biodynamic and organic principles in mind. The 1ha under vine is all pinot noir at this stage, specifically Abel, Pommard, MV6 and 777 clones." Halliday Wine Companion
"A firm, tannin-strict style with dried Italianate herbs draped on dark cherry, cola, faint mocha and some granitic, smoky elements, all playing well together. A little juiciness, but more about being a dry, savoury style than anything. Structured and serious; this is one for big glasses and a good decant to get its best.
