Corymbia is one of the Swan Valley's most progressive wine makers. They are not scared to tackle varieties with little legacy in the region (inc Tempranillo and Malbec) & they practice organic farming principals.
A chance tasting a few weeks back when looking to grab a bottle off the shelf post a shift in-store. So glad I grabbed this bottle - combines new world enthusiastic ripeness with classical chalk and light tannin. Hangs together really well and has a fantastic sense of freshness and grace. Best Temp-based wine I've tried from Australia.
"Initially reticent but opens up to deliver bright red fruits. Cherry, plum. Quince. Black strap licorice and dried flowers. A little rubbed sage.
