A one-off blend of 50% Chardonnay predominantly sourced from 1997 and 2016 plantings; 41% Sauvignon Blanc primarily from a 1996 planting, with a parcel of fruit from an older block making the difference; and 9% Riesling from 1976 and 2015 plantings.

Bannockburn's viticultural principles are based on a healthy respect for the land and responsible farming, e.g. the use of organic composting and straw mulching to eliminate need for herbicide sprays and th e cultivation of inter-row cover crops to add soil nutrients. Wines are made on a low-intervention basis.
